Arunachala Cacao is a small cacao workshop at the foot of the sacred mountain Arunachala in Tiruvannamalai. We work with carefully selected beans from the hills of Kerala and craft them into raw cacao nibs and stone-ground cacao mass. The beans are sun-dried in the fire of Arunachala sun and processed gently to preserve their natural flavor, aroma and character.

Carefully Sourced Beans
Our cacao comes from small farms in the lush hills of Kerala. The tropical climate and rich soil give the beans a naturally high cocoa butter content and deep, rounded flavor.
Sun-Dried & Unroasted
The beans are dried in the open sun and processed without roasting. This keeps the cacao raw and preserves the delicate aromatic notes of the bean.
Nothing Added
Our cacao contains only cacao. No sugar, no additives, no alkalization — just pure beans.

A quiet place to work
Our cacao is made in a small workshop at the foot of Arunachala. The place once served as a village orphanage and today is also home to rescued animals and a small local team from the surrounding villages who help craft our cacao.
